Another scenario is that Mr Dollar isn’t stabbed in the back in an alley, but is formally executed by the political bureaurats who after having misused Mr Dollar for their own purposes, now find him an embarrassment and decide rather than having to explain his diminished condition to the detriment of their careers, they sentence him to death.
